Nick & Alex
Nick and Alex began their partnership in 2024. Since then, they have taught locally in The Netherlands, as well as more than a dozen countries internationally at Kizomba Festivals.
Alex fell in love with Kizomba because it taught her to connect with her internal world and the people around her. Alex believes that partner dancing could teach you how to connect to your body and be vulnerable and creative with others. When she teaches she creates a safe space for everyone to be their authentic selves
Nick connected with Kiz because of how creative and expressive the dance is, and he emphasises this in his teaching. He strives to help others to share their unique style while mastering the essential techniques of the dance.
Our Style
Nick & Alex have a wide reportoire that range from soft and lyrical, to dynamic and fast UrbanKiz. They began sharing their pedagogy with students in the Netherlands in 2024 with classes at OurKizombaConnection, but have since started their own classes in Amsterdam under CollabKiz.
